Relationships with Children

Our relationships with children are authentic, nurturing, trusting and respectful. Each child’s sense of wellbeing is supported to build high self-esteem and self-worth in order to achieve the best possible learning outcomes for each child. Our relationships are underpinned by a commitment to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Code of Ethics.

Partnerships with Families and Community

As a small local rural service we have established collaborative partnerships with many groups and services within our community. We also invite our families to be actively engaged in our preschool community. We welcome interests, ideas, and participation.

Learning Environments

Open-ended interactions, risk-taking, exploration, discovery, and connection with nature. Appreciation for our natural environment encourages respect, and connection. We foster hope, wonder and knowledge about our natural world. Welcoming spaces reflect and enrich the lives and identities. It responds to interests, needs, strengths, and challenges. (EYLF pg. 15)
